As one of the most important disease vectors worldwide, mosquitoes are, inter alia, responsible for the transmission of several viruses, malaria, and lymphatic filariasis. Spatial repellents are tried and tested control measures, but improvements to conventional repellent vaporizers are needed to provide more targeted repellent release.
Based on market research, we have initiated development of a smart mosquito repellent device, and are looking for a partner with the capabilities to bring this to market maturity and commercialization.
The requirements for the device are:
- Efficient both indoors and outdoors
- Rechargeable, with long battery life
- Smart, AI-based detection-activation feature
- Lightweight, portable, and stable on a tabletop
- Vertical construction (ø 5-10 cm)
- Efficient microphone
- Efficient sensors: temperature, humidity, CO2
- LED indicators
- Display screen
