The impact of California's new Title 24 requirements for new buildings
At the end of 2021, the state of California adopted new language in their Title 24 code that will make it a mandatory requirement for new commercial buildings greater than 5,000 square feet to be equipped with Solar and BESS technology beginning in 2023. Through this questionnaire, we want to gain a better understanding for the potential impacts of Title 24, including application, probability, and timeframe.
