Search for a vehicle seat or partnership for seat manufacture

As part of the development of new vehicles we would like to identify, through this questionnaire, an existing seat solution that meets our constraints for integration and use in order to establish a partnership, or to directly identify a partner capable of producing a customised seat.

Issue

We are looking for a seat with the following characteristics to be fitted in the new vehicle ranges:
- Allows the fitting of a 4-point harness with 2 retractors (all harness attachment points must be on the seat).
- Has a backrest that can be folded forwards or backwards, allowing an angle exceeding 160°.
- Allows the fitting of armrests to the left and the right.
- Can support a load of 140 kg on the seat.
- Fitted with a breathable coating with an abrasion resistance greater than 180,000 Martindales.
- Depending on the vehicle, allowing mounting directly on sliders, on a mechanical height adjustment system or directly on the floor.
- The distance from the H-point to the seat support point (slider attachment) must be less than 140 mm.
- Complies with the ECE14 (vehicle category M3-N3) and REACH regulations.

The aim is to fit these seats in 4500 vehicles over 5 years.

We also envisage manufacturing our own seat if no valid solution is available on the market.
