Additive for reducing the effects of centrifugal forces on an aqueous coating

During the manufacturing phases, the fibres we produce are coated with a solution comprising 90% water, the remainder are suspended polymers and various additives.

When said fibre is undergoing the winding process just after coating, a large proportion of this coating is subjected to centrifugal forces and is ejected from the product. The rotational speed is between 2000 and 4000 rpm for a diameter ranging from 15 cm to 40 cm.
The coating is currently applied in excess, because the water ensures the protection of the product up to the winding phase.

We want to identify a water-soluble, non-ionic additive in order not to interfere with our formulations, but which would reduce losses caused by centrifugal forces.
