Wireless Time-Sensitive Networking (WTSN) solution

This solution is an IEEE 802.11-based custom Wireless Time-Sensitive Networking (WTSN) system with TSN-grade capabilities, including features such as guaranteed sub-millisecond latency, nanosecond-level time synchronization, mixed-criticality traffic support, and seamless integration with TSN. This solution performs beyond the current state-of-the-art in wireless technologies. 

Some examples of applications that this technology can enable are: 

• Control networks that accept inputs from sensors, perform control loop processing, and initiate actions.
• Time-critical networks that require packet and link redundancy.
• Sophisticated mixed media networks that handle data with varying levels of timing sensitivity and priority, such as in-vehicle networks.

This WTSN technology combines a new time-triggered communications architecture for robust wireless networks and a patented algorithm for time synchronization, which is compliant with the IEEE80211AZ standard.
