New innovative, high performance, bio-sourced, non-toxic resin for bonding

The resins commonly used in the production of industrial adhesives (phenolics, epoxies, polyurethanes), despite their very good adhesive performance, often have one major drawback: their toxicity. 

This toxicity can manifest itself at several levels: 

• When handling the resin to produce the adhesive 
• When handling the adhesive to manufacture the product
• In the use of the final product (volatile compounds)

This toxicity presents risks not only to the industrial operators, but also to the users of the final product.

Our R&D department has developed a resin with high mechanical performance, high chemical and thermal resistance similar to phenolic resins, but with a unique chemistry. 

This allows our product to be: 

• Non-toxic to operators and users 
• Free of volatile organic compounds (VOC)
• Bio-sourced

While offering the chemical and mechanical performances expected from phenolic resins (mechanical and thermal resistance with good charring rate, resistance to humidity, bacterial resistance, ...).
